Education Programs
The Mahaska County Conservation Board's mission includes "creating an awareness of our environment, encourage a state of harmony between people and their natural communities...and provide services for the environmental education and enjoyment of citizens of Mahaska County".
MCCB provides year-round environmental education programs for all ages at public programs, field trips at our county sites, outreach programs and summer camps. The MCCB's environmental education program is a county-wide program and it is headquartered in the Mahaska County Environmental Learning Center at Caldwell Park.
