EverTru Natural Wilderness Area

This 74 acre area can be found 3 miles north of New Sharon on the county line road west off of Highway 146, located at 2110 100th St., New Sharon, Iowa. The rolling hills are dominated by oak-hickory forests and grass covered uplands. A small pond nestled in the timber has both blue gill and bass. Both prairie and woodland wildflowers can be found in this transitional ecosystem. Opportunities for hiking, hunting and bird watching abound.
